SOOO, last night was the free No Age show at Levitt Pavillion at MacArthur Park. Opening band was Ceremony, and the closing band was No Flag, which was No Age and Keith Morris and Chuck Dukowski from Black Flag. Eff. Yeah. For Real.

Flying Lotus - Massage Situation
This Saturday, skip whatever lame shit you had planned and head to the 12th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival. Co-curated by The Low End Theory camp, this year’s line-up is particularly Beat-heavy but expect to sample a nice cross-section of L.A.’s flourishing music scene. So, come chill with your neighbors and let some DJ’s simultaneously smooth you out and break your neck like this classic FlyLo track.
Seriously though, this is one of those events that makes me really happy (and proud) to live in Los Angeles. Fuck your city.

@fyffest is upon us again, Los Angeles! This event was one of my favorites last year. I’m excited that it’s back, and the line up is sick, and blah blah blah.
I want to see every band on this bill. Looks like I’ll be running in between three stages again.
And here’s a remix of Cold Cave’s “Life Magazine” by Delorean, because it’s a pretty song. I found out about Cold Cave at FYF Fest, so it all makes sense now, doesn’t it?
