This mix was for Bass Goes Boom, my first ever DJ gig! Loads of fun, way nervous, but managed to not die (surprisingly). Well, I decided to record it for friends who couldn’t make it out, but still wanted to see what I did with the tunes… God knows I changed it up a million times, and about 40 tracks passed through this. It was brutal, like Survivor, for tunes. Each week, a batch got thrown out without remorse.

Anyhow, most importantly, ginormous ups to Johnny Nunes, aka Shaky Premise of Wack Raps, for helping me with this set. Without him, I would be wrecking the whole thing. He taught me how to fix all my tracks up and play them tidy, so, much love! I’ll be playing with him at the next Bass Goes Boom in July. Keep your eyes peeled for the flyer! Also biggups to Adam (Demon0ne) for booking me and popping my cherry, and Julie Rasmussen for feeding me a healthy dinner of apple jolly ranchers, and making sure the whole production went smoothly. Good job guys, you did awesome! And many thanks to everyone who could and did make it out to support. Feeling totally grateful, and still glowy over the whole ordeal.
