Amy Winehouse // “Back to Black”
I thought about it. I did love her. I do love her. No surprises, and that’s the worst part of it.
That 27 Club is no joke.

Crystal Stilts - Through the Floor
The new video and single from these Brooklynite’s upcoming In Love with Oblivion is a visual representation of the album name - lost in an oblivion of color love. They haven’t lost their genre-setting darkwave sound on this new effort, though. Absolutely keyed-in.
Keep yr eyes peeled, the record is due out April 12 on Slumberland Records.

Destroyer Releases New Single: “Chinatown”
The first single from Dan Bejar-led outfit Destroyer’s forthcoming album, Kaputt, arrived today as a free download via Merge. While the studio version of the tune, “Chinatown,” adheres closely to last fall’s live preview lyrically and melodically, Bejar adds a chilled out beat, breezy atmospherics, and some smooth-jazz saxophone to the arrangement here, taking the tune in a more laid back direction. Grab the MP3 here and stream the tune above.

@LowEndTheory808 was shut down early last night, cutting into Kraddy’s set. Way disappointing, but the live show was amazing, and we are so stoked to see Kraddy and Drew/YR SKULL play together live. Let’s hope they put together another show soon!
so last nights shows was AMAZING! unfortunately the fire marshall shut down the LOW END THEORY party about 15 minutes into our set, (due to the venue being over capacity) but the response was huge none the less. thanks to everyone that was able to make it, and my apologies for such a short show, we’ll make it up to you guys.
thanks for the kind words/video Sheida! so glad u were able to go!
Tonight Kraddy (@KraddyoDaddy) and drummer, Drew Marcogliese (@drewmarcogliese) rocked Low End Theory. This DJ / Drummer phenomenon that’s happening is blowing my mind. ZTrip showed up and mixed a little something something. Despite comments from attendees, for a 15 minute impromptu set, I was impressed. I was impressed by everyone. If you can make me dance, you have a place in my heart. If you can make me not care that I’m all sweaty and gross, you have a place inside me.
